Christmas in June

My lovely basket of 'goodies' arrived this afternoon from Debbie at Jadehollow. It was almost like Christmas for me ... I won the Big Giveaway (the first time I've ever won anything!!) in May when I visited Debbie's blog after hearing about her from another 'new best blog friend' Robynn over at Robynn's Ravings.

The basket is beautiful with a cover and very useful, it was complete with a lovely ribbon ... but it was what the basket contained that was so exciting. A Sylvania Compact MP3 Player ... WOW ... The DVD of FIREPROOF (an inspirational movie about triumph, honor and forgiveness) I have wanted to see this movie since hearing and reading about it and it's story line. One of the 'surprises' in the basket was a package of Mulberry Fresh Scents ... the package is not only my favorite potpourri, but it has my favorite motto on it Live Well- Love Much - Laugh Often !!! There is a cute little plaque which reads "Never forget to kiss each other goodnight" (very good advice as The Duck and I are getting ready to celebrate 44 years together!) I love the Zebra cosmetic bag, the Solar Butter hand cream (this is wonderful and smells good, too!) note cards and the flowers.

I cannot not thank Debbie enough ... the basket of goodies is so special ... but finding such a sweet new friend in This Blog World has proven to be the absolute best gift ever!!

Yippeeee! It finally made it! Looks like everything survived the trip intact. I'm so happy you are pleased with all your goodies! Now go load up that mp3 player.. slap on some of that solar butter and sit down with The Duck and watch Fireproof. I can't wait for your email telling me what y'all thought of the movie!

Back to work I go.. remember that new boss I told you about.. Well she's a hollering "The blinds Mom.. The blinds.. it's time to hang the blinds." Man she's tough.
Stay tuned I'll be doing the big reveal on her room tomorrow.
Hugs,
Debbie

Yay for you! What a great bunch of stuff!
Have you watched the dvd yet? I've heard a lot about it, but I don't know anyone who's actually watched it... and I like to hear things from "real" people before I buy anything!
